Closio Estate ("we", "us", or "our") is a company registered in Indonesia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data when you use our CRM platform and website, in accordance with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP), Government Regulation No. 71 of 2019 (PP 71/2019), and Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions as amended (UU ITE).
Data Controller
Closio Estate acts as the data processor (prosesor data pribadi) of client data entered into the platform by your agency. Your agency is the data controller (pengendali data pribadi) for its own client records. Information We Collect
We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide: name, email address, phone number, agency name, and any other information submitted through our forms or platform. Through the CRM platform, your agency may store client data including contact details, property preferences, and transaction records. We also collect general usage data (IP address, browser type, access logs) for platform improvement and security.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under Article 20 of UU PDP, we process your personal data based on: (a) contractual necessity - to provide and operate the CRM platform as agreed; (b) your explicit consent - for marketing communications, newsletters, and analytics beyond core service delivery; (c) legal obligation - to comply with Indonesian law and regulations; (d) legitimate interest - to improve our services and ensure platform security, balanced against your data protection rights.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal data to: provide and maintain the CRM platform, communicate service updates, process billing and transactions, respond to support requests, send marketing communications (with your consent), improve platform features based on usage analysis, and comply with legal obligations under Indonesian law.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share data with: trusted service providers who assist in operating our platform (cloud hosting, payment processing), subject to data processing agreements; and government authorities when required by Indonesian law or regulation.
Cross-Border Data Transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located outside Indonesia for cloud hosting purposes. In accordance with UU PDP, we ensure that any cross-border transfer is subject to appropriate safeguards, including contractual protections that provide a level of data protection equivalent to Indonesian law. We will inform you of any such transfers.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by Indonesian law. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for 30 days after termination to allow data export. After this period, data is permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.
Data Security
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption, access controls, regular backups, and security audits. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected data subjects and the relevant authority within 3×24 hours (3 calendar days) as required by Article 46 of UU PDP.

Under the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP), you have the right to: (1) be informed about how your data is processed; (2) access your personal data; (3) rectify inaccurate data; (4) delete your personal data; (5) restrict processing; (6) withdraw consent at any time; (7) object to automated decision-making; (8) data portability; (9) seek compensation for data protection violations.
